My family likes to do this this to me. They hear me, but they don't listen to what I say.

Example Nr1:
Dad: "Where is the remote?"
Anny: "It's under the pillow"
Dad: "Has anyone seen the remote? Marlene?"
Anny: "Dad! It's under the pillow!"
Dad: "Oh there it is! Why didn't anyone say that it was under the pillow?"

Example Nr2:
Anny: "Can we slow down? My feet hurt from walking so much!"
Sister: "Come on!"
Anny: "Hold on! Can't we sit for a little while?"
Sister: *keeps on walking*
Anny: "Gaah!"

*at home*

Sister: "Holy shit! What is that?"
Anny: "That is the blister you and mom gave me from not letting me sit down"
Sister: "I didn't hear you say you wanted to slow down"
Anny: "You did, too! You just didn't listen!"


Example Nr3:
Mom: "Why don't you and your sister go to Stockholm today?"
Anny: "I can't my blister hasen't healed properly"
Mom: "You can look around for shoes for N's wedding!"
Anny: "Mom! My feet hurt and I can't walk properly and you want me to walk around in Sthlm all day!"
Mom: "Ask your sister if she want to go when she comes inside"
Anny: "Mom, you are hearing me, but you're not listening!"

I think I've proven my point. My family is very special and I'm going to have to spend an entire week with that. Oh the joy!
